Number Sense Basic

It is a 6-week short course to inspire lower grade students to have a good understanding of how numbers work. It is mainly focused on some tricks or shortcuts for quick and accurate calculations. After this class, students are able to do many types of operation of 2-digit or 3-digit numbers in 10 to 15seconds.

Pre-requisites: None

Students are expected to spend 3 hrs each week.

MOEMS

It is a 6-week short course designed to prepare students be ready for MOEMS competition. Total class time is （2 classes each week and 60 minutes for each class). For each class, we will review 3 sets of the past MOEMS test. After 12 lessons, students will finish 180 problems and additional logic problems if time allowed. The class has a good balance of new concepts, new approaches and problem-solving skills build (list, table, backwards, etc)

Pre-requisites: None

Students are expected to spend 5 to 6hrs each week to work on homework and take class.

Logic Fun

It is a 8-week short class for all students who is interested to get logic training. We teach students to solve the problems by a logic way or system way instead of step-by-step approaches. We inspire student to “think outside the box” and promote logic and reasoning thinking process. This class is not designed for math contests, but it will definitely help students to improve their problem-solving skills.

Pre-requisites: Students need to finish Prealgebra to enroll in this class

Students are expected to spend 4 to 5hrs each week
